Jason started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand) and has over 27 years of audit and tax experience of companies in various industries including manufacturing, trading, consumer products, services, construction and property development. He was also involved in public sector audits, initial public offerings, due diligence audits, profits and cash flows projections, insolvency, share valuation, tax advisory and planning, tax audits and investigations, transfer pricing and real property gains tax.

He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia and member of ASEAN CPA. He is registered with the Audit Oversight Board of Malaysia to audit public interest entities, and the Labuan Financial Services Authority to audit companies incorporated in Labuan, Malaysia. He is also licensed tax agent under Section 153 of the Income Tax Act 1967 and Section 170 of the Goods and Services Tax Act 2014.

Jason represented the ACCA Public Practice Committee from 2010 to 2014, and the MIA audit practice committee from 2010 to 2012, and presently serves in the Asia Pacific Board of Nexia International, as well as Committee in its International People Development Committee, and Nexia Reputation Committee.

Gary has been in practice for more than 50 years providing full-firm services of audit, tax, advisory and insolvency services to clients ranging from small and medium private companies to public listed companies. He had served as a Group Chair of CEOs in Malaysia under the Vistage (formerly TEC) international network of CEOs and Company Presidents, headquartered in San Diego (USA).

A member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he has been a Council Member since 2010. Gary is also a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

Gary has served as a member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board since 2015.

Singam has been in practice for more than 40 years and oversees the Corporate Management Services including insolvencies, mergers and restructuring and is also the review partner for Government statutory bodies audit. He was involved in corporate management training programmes organised by the Companies Commission of Malaysia. He has been appointed to the Board of Directors of several public listed companies.

Singam is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).

He also received his Bachelor of Law from University of London and holds a Certificate of Legal Practice, Malaysia.

David Siew has more than 40 years of experience in auditing, corporate advisory and management services serving clients ranging in size from small and medium companies to public listed companies. David has also served for 4 years as the Finance Director of a major diversified public listed corporation and acted as a Special Administrator for Danaharta.

David is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CPA Australia.

Michelle has been in the accountancy profession, for more than 20 years of which 5 years was with an international accounting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers. She graduated as Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Accounting (UK). She is experienced in the audit of companies representing a major cross-section of the various industries and sectors. She was also involved in Initial Public Offerings exercises, Due Diligence reviews and, Securities Commission – appointed investigative audits.

Michelle is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. She sits in the Public Practice Committee of the ACCA since 2015.

Michelle sits on the Board of a company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia as an independent non-executive director and heads the Audit Committee since 2023.

Mr. Yau, is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant with MICPA in 1998.

He had previously worked with a reputable international accounting firm for 9 years. He has more than 20 years extensive experience in audit of public listed and private companies, corporate acquisitions, investigation and restructuring exercise. He has also undertaken numerous receivership and liquidation assignments.

Bavany has over 20 years of professional experience in the audit of companies in various industries including manufacturing, trading, consumer products, services, construction and property development.

Bavany graduated from the University of Malaya with a degree in Accounting. She is a fellow member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Kenji has over 20 years of professional experience handling statutory audit and audit related assignments in Malaysia and abroad (Singapore, Hong Kong and China). He has also been involved in several local and overseas Initial Public Offerings, due diligence and investigative audits.

He has worked with medium and large privately owned and public listed companies in a wide range of industries including construction, property development, manufacturing and trading, restaurant chain operations and food production, as well as charitable organizations, digital technology and IT companies.

Kenji is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Tuck Wai has over 20 years of professional experience handling statutory audits of industries ranging from construction, property development, manufacturing, brewery, telecommunication, charitable organizations, education, IT and trading in Malaysia and company listed in AIM London.

He has also been involved in several Initial Public Offerings (IPO), Reverse Takeovers (RTO), Due Diligences, Bonds Issuances, Investigative Audits of public listed companies and overseas assignments. Financial due diligence exercises that Tuck Wai had carried out included clients from various industries: Lagenda Properties Berhad (property development), Boilermech Holdings Berhad (renewable energy) and MMAG Holdings Berhad (aviation).

Tuck Wai is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Yap Chang Xiong has over 16 years of professional experience handling statutory audit of medium and large privately owned and public listed companies in various industries including trading, manufacturing, construction, services and restaurant chain operations, digital technology and IT companies.

Chang Xiong graduated from University of Malaya with a Degree in Accounting. He is a member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Ngiam Mia Teck has over 28 years of professional experience handling statutory audits of industries ranging from manufacturing, trading, food and beverage, wellness centres, hotel operations, information technology, oil and gas, renewable energy, investment properties, the plantation sector, construction, and property development.

He was also involved in corporate engagements such as Initial Public Offering (IPO) exercises, bond/sukuk issuance assignments, Reverse Takeover (RTO) exercises, feasibility studies, valuation reviews, and overseas assignments.

He had contributed his time to Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), including serving as a member of the Public Practice Committee and participating in the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) in MIA.

Teh Sew Hong started her career as an auditor with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC), one of the Big Four accounting firms and left for investment banks after a 6-year stint in the audit profession before joining investment banking in 1995. From 1995 to 2002, she was with corporate finance departments of three investment banks, namely, Affin Investment Bank Berhad, Bumiputra Merchant Bank Berhad and Alliance Investment Bank Berhad (“AIBB”).

She is the Executive Director of Sierac Corporate Advisers Sdn. Bhd. since May 2011. In March 2015, she was admitted as the audit partner of Kreston John & Gan until February 2018 and was the audit partner of SBY Partners PLT from March 2018 to 30 April 2025. She possesses over 30 years of professional working experience in the fields of auditing, accounting, financial management accounting, corporate finance and advisory services, taxation, company secretarial and insolvency services.

Sew Hong is a member of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountant (MICPA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Karen has been in the accountancy profession for more than 20 years of which 5 years was with an international accounting firm, Ernst & Young. She is experienced in the audit of companies representing a major cross-section of the various industries and sectors.

She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).

Chow Kuo Seng has more than 35 years with the Big 4 and has also been named Malaysia Tax Controversy Leader by the International Tax Review year-on-year.

He has extensive and in-depth experience in advising taxation issues for local and multinational corporations as well as high net-worth individual clients.

He is an approved tax agent under the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.

He is also a member of ACCA, MICPA, MIA and CTIM.

In 2006, Datuk Mohd Saian Ridzuan joined as the Executive Director of Sekhar & Tan, where he has served and led for more than a decade.

He brings with him an extensive knowledge and experience base in tax audit and investigatory practises, stemming from his long stint in public service. For 36 years, Datuk Mohd Saian worked for the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) of Malaysia. During his time at the IRB, he climbed the ranks to achieve the role as Head of Investigations, before eventually ascending to the role of the Board’s Deputy Director General in charge of Operations, Technical, Legal and Information Communication and Technology.

Amongst his many achievements is the successful planning and implementation of the Board’s Self-Assessment System, for both Companies and Individual Taxpayers, which has streamlined tax collection and declarations across all sectors.

Datuk Mohd Saian is a member of The Association of Corporate and Certified Secretaries (UK).

He is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years’ experience in taxation consulting. He was the Head of Taxation Department of Touche Ross & Co from 1989 to 1993. He has served as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Taxation’s technical committee. He was also a co-founder of Sekhar & Tan.

His responsibilities in Sekhar & Tan’s tax division include the review and implementation of schemes for tax-efficient restructuring of businesses, international tax planning, tax investigations, appeals and general tax consultancy for clients involved in varied industries. Besides direct taxation, Mr Sekhar also advises on specific indirect tax issues, service tax, duty drawback and appeals.

Chew Lee has over 8 years of professional experience handling statutory audit of medium and large privately owned and public listed companies in various industries including trading, manufacturing, construction, renewable energy and retail.

She was also involved in due diligence, internal audit and risk management and Initial Public Offering (IPO) exercises.

Fauzi has been in the accountancy profession for more than 20 years and has accumulated years of audit experience of companies in diverse and varied industries, businesses, societies and other entities. He also has extensive experience in public sector audits and NGOs.
